Core supports are one of the four main funding budgets in your NDIS plan. They are designed to help you with everyday activities, daily living tasks, and participating in your community.

What Are Core Supports?

Core supports funding gives you the flexibility to access the everyday assistance you need. Unlike more restrictive budgets, Core Supports are generally flexible, meaning you can use the allocated funding across different categories within the budget to best suit your needs.

Your Core Supports budget can include funding for up to three main support categories:

• Assistance with Daily Life
• Consumables
• Assistance with Social, Community & Civic Participation

Core Supports Categories We Deliver

Across Sydney and Melbourne, our team deliver quality supports in the following categories: 

1. Assistance with Daily Life This is the most commonly used category. It helps with everyday tasks and routines so you can live as independently as possible. We provide support workers for:

• Personal care (showering, dressing, grooming)
• Domestic tasks (cleaning, meal preparation, laundry)
• Household maintenance and yard care
• Shopping and transport
• Medication reminders and health-related support

2. Consumables We can assist with the purchase of everyday essential items and low-cost equipment that support your independence. Examples include:

• Continence products
• Personal care items
• Low-cost assistive technology (e.g. non-slip mats, adaptive utensils, dressing aids)
• Small mobility or safety equipment

3. Assistance with Social and Community Participation Helps you engage in social, recreational, and community activities. Our team can support you with:

• Attending social groups, events, or hobbies
• Community outings and activities
• Building confidence in social settings
• Group-based activities and skill development
