Branch Manager – Machelle Anthony
Machelle brings 25 years of experience in the disability sector, with a career dedicated to supporting people with disability to live meaningful, safe and empowered lives. She spent five years working in adult disability, primarily within Supported Independent Living (SIL) environments, followed by 20 years with the Department of Education, specialising in Special Schools.
Throughout her career, Machelle has worked alongside people of all ages with a wide range of needs and abilities. This experience has shaped her into a compassionate, reliable and creative professional who values dignity, consistency and genuine connection.
Machelle is particularly passionate about providing stable, person-centred support. One of her greatest concerns within the current disability system is the continual rotation of casual support workers through participants’ homes and lives. She believes people with disability deserve to build trusted, consistent relationships with the people supporting them.
With maturity, integrity and extensive hands-on experience, Machelle is committed to creating support environments where people feel known, respected, safe and genuinely supported to thrive.
